Welcome

Hello and welcome.

I was a seriously unhealthy and unhappy man that lived a pain filled existence.  
I now have a fulfilling, healthy and awesome life and have decided to document my journey.

I am going to document my mistakes as well as the amazing things I have learnt about my body.

*****

My intention in putting this out in cyber world is purely personal;  I have days when I need to remember just how far I have come so I have put this “out there” so I can look back when needed, just to remind me.  As such if no one reads it then that’s cool but if by chance someone finds this and is interested or it even helps them a little, then that would be out of this world amazing!!

    Dennis, you have done amazingly well, you should be extremely proud of yourself and too for sharing your story which is a very hard thing to do. You have really inspired me! I wAs always a little overweight at school, always unhappy about how I looked!! years of yo yo dieting that has just made me put on further weight and doesn’t teach you how to change your lifestyle and eating habits. I have done bootcamp 3 times a week for the last 2 years and yes I could see my body change shape but no weight loss because I was still shovelling the same crap in to my body! Now I have changed my whole outlook! I’m not dieting but eating healthy/clean and this has really helped me I am under no pressure at those weigh ins! I have lost half stone in the last month and are now more determined than ever to shift the rest of it about 3 stone, after 2 children it’s tough but I have to do it for my own sanity and to be truly happy with myself!! Keep up the good work and keep sharing all the success as it will always help someone to make that change!!

      Going to show how all my diets actually “did not work!” yes I lost WEIGHT but my health was suffering.

      Today, I have around 2800 – 3000 calories a day of :
      FAT(gasp!)
      CARBS!! (gasp again!!)
      Protein

      I still lose between 1 to 2lbs a week if I exercise moderately, or maintain weight if I don’t exercise that week…

    Well done Den very inspirational even makes me want to do something with my eating.
    It just shows what can be done without staving yourself and eating healthily.
    well done again very proud of you I look forward to the next episode
